The mulch sale is the largest single day fundraiser for the Rockville High School Booster Club. All students and their families are encouraged to participate and the majority do. Profits from your purchase directly benefit students who participate in RHS Athletic, Music, and Journalism programs. Our sale is open to the community and about half our customers do not have students that attend the school. Our prices are competitive and our affordable delivery and spreading services offer great value.
Spreading Services
Optional spreading services are offered and performed by Rockville students. Spreading will take place on Sunday March 29, Saturday, April 4, and Sunday, April 5. Soon after you’ve placed your spreading order you will be contacted to confirm your scheduled spreading date and time.
We will work with you to schedule the date and time that works best for you and our crews. You will also have an opportunity to let our crew know of any special requests you may have. Home Delivery
Optional home delivery is limited to an approximate 5 mile radius of Rockville High School, but we may make exceptions for special orders. Contact the Mulch Sale Chairman Suzanne Pasternak at RHSmulch@gmail.com or call or text (240) 447-1186 to discuss delivery concerns.
All deliveries will occur on Sarturday, March 28. We do not schedule deliveries, but aim to make them all between 8:00 am and 2 pm. All deliveries will be made on the day of our sale. Call or text (240) 447-1186 if you have not received a delivery you expected by this time.
You do not need to be home to receive delivery. Leave a note on your front door with instructions. If there is no note, we will knock on your door to ask your preference for placing the delivery. If nobody is home and there is no note we will use our best judgment, normally placing items near a driveway. .
Walk-up Orders
You may order mulch, delivery and spreading services in person on the day of our sale, subject to availability. Arrive at the school before noon and follow directions to our walkup sale table. You may pay by cash, check, or credit card (no AMEX).
Ordering by Mail
Download our form, fill out what you want, mail the form along with a check to the address on the form. Checks made payable to RHS Booster Club. Mail orders need to be received by Tuesday, March 24.
Online Ordering & Payment
This website is accessible from a variety of desktop, tablet and mobile devices. If you have problems with our site please contact us at rhsmulch@gmail.com or try another device or browser.
Our online payment processor is PayPal and the Booster Club has no control over PayPal practices or policies. The Booster Club does not have access to or retain your credit card information. If you encounter problems with PayPal, we suggest you order by mail or come to our walk-up table on the day of the sale.
Web Issues
This website is accessible from Computers, Phones, and Tablets. If your Internet access is slow, it may take time loading some graphics. If you have significant problems ordering you can contact our rhsmulch@gmail.com. Our site has been tested using a variety of PC Browsers, Phones, and Tablets. If you are having trouble and have access to another device often the second device will work. Also, sometimes a different browser on the same PC will behave differently.

We aim for your complete satisfaction with our products and services. Our student and parent volunteers do the best they can to deliver your order accurately and with a smile. If you are unhappy with our products or service or if you wish to make a claim for a mistake in delivery please contact Suzanne Pasternak, the Mulch Sale Chairman, at rhsmulch@gmail.com or at (240) 447-1186. Please make any claims for mis-delivery no later than Noon, Monday, March 30. We will do whatever we can to guarantee your satisfaction.
